Our Copper Earthing Electrode features a primary pure copper conductor (outer pipe) and a secondary pure copper conductor (inner pipe). The secondary conductor is inserted inside the primary conductor, and the space between them is filled with a highly conductive, non-corrosive compound. This compound protects the electrode from corrosion over an extended period, ensuring long-term reliability even when buried in soil.
This design provides enhanced conductivity and durability, making it ideal for grounding systems that require superior performance and protection against electrical faults.
Note :- All measurements are in MM, PC = Primary Conductor & SC = Secondary Conductor
Why Earthing & Lightning Protection System?
Earthing ensures a low impedance path for leakage and excessive currents to flow safely into the ground, protecting human life, property, and equipment from electrical hazards. It shields against lightning strikes, power surges, and static electrical charges. Effective earthing also directs fault currents and lightning to the ground safely, maintaining equipment reliability.
The Lightning Protection System (LPS) protects structures from direct lightning strikes and internal surges in electrical and communication networks.
In Pune, where thunderstorms are common, these systems:
Intercept lightning with air terminals.
Safely conduct the current away from structures.
Disperse it into the ground through the earthing system.
